Topline take over IT support for accounting services business
Topline recently took over IT support at an accounting services business who describe Topline’s arrival as a “revelation”.
Within two weeks of Topline’s involvement this thriving accountancy business was able to operate efficiently and concentrate on their accountancy work, knowing their IT systems were functional, efficient and no longer holding them back.

Servers migrated to new hardware in data centre, users’ systems reconfigured
Migration of multiple old servers with 40 users located across the UK to a single efficient modern server, utilising virtualisation technology to achieve optimum efficiency in space, energy and data centre costs.
The new server was installed into Topline’s managed area within a secure data centre where we continue to manage the system on behalf of the customer. The users’ workstations were configured for the new infrastructure by Topline support technicians through remote support sessions. This helped minimise disruption for a hard working team who are always on the road. The reliability of the service provided to the users has improved substantially since the migration.

Telephone system replacement
Replacement of 1998 telephone system with a new modern system configured for initial capacity of 104 extensions, installed in a large c1860 mixed use building using majority of existing cable infrastructure. The upgrade included migrating from DASS2 to ISDN30e and incorporating 25 new extensions.

Wireless Internet for nursing and residential environment
Installing new internet WiFi network with user management system as part of a major refurbishment. Installation also included provision of cabled internet connection ready for PC access and sockets for Smart TVs to around 20 rooms.
